Dearest You,
I never thought I could get bored on a long weekend... but I was... I'm sorry that I was, but that's the fact. The festivities that went on on the occasion of Eid el Adha did not bring my mood up. The constant chants praising Allah only made me adrift into a deepest sleep. Opening this blog did not work either, I have been staring at a blank page for 2 consecutive days.
The usual clicks on FV, FT, CL, PetSoc and other games on FB did not work either. I clicked with blank mind, not realizing how many crops have been harvested then plowed then replanted. O well, the clicks on my mouse very much represented the clicks on the clock.
Until... beep beep... the very familiar sound on my Blackberry woke me up from my daydreaming. My brother is on his way to town! Whaaaaatt??? He was not supposed to come until tomorrow. Yeaaaahhhh!!! Yipppeeee... Hey but wait, how am I supposed to pick him up?? Quick, quick, quick... best friends to the rescue... My dearest friend from High School, mutual best friend of my brother and mine, ping ping ping on his BB, and yes, it's a date, we are going to the train station!!
Finally, after long hours of deafening boredom, I can go out and spend some times off with people dear to my heart. The ha ha ha, hi hi hi, the "do you remember"s and all the memories from 20 years back simply rolled like a time machine. Making the restaurant feeling like the canteen of our high school, not minding the stares of people as we laughed out loud over dirty jokes....
Oh well, dear Iwan - my brother, dear Salmon - my best friend, dear Vina - new acquaintance who instantly clicked, and dear Ina - my cousin who learned of adulthood with me... you just made my day. I guess with the short time we spent, you just showered me with new excitement and I look forward to the rest of my holiday.
