It's just another rainy day

Dear you,

I woke up, 5:00 am, as usual, shollat Subuh... click my PC and harvest FarmVille, FarmTown and CountryLife... I was so focussed on the click click click of my keyboard that I did not realize there were drip drip drip outside my window...

I looked out... It was still dark, the sky was pitch black and the rain was pouring... Juuuuuust puuurrrrfect (like that cat on Strawberry Shortcake cartoon).

Here in Jakarta, rain means traffic jam, flood (in most part of the town), and eventually late at work cuz you just want to curl up some more in the comfort of your bed. Well, you know what... today I do NOT want to skip work for one bit. This is my LAST day at Relife, a life insurance company that has been kind enough to transfer some money into my bank account each month for the last 2 years.

Today, I will say goodbye to friends who have been family since I joined this marvelous company. Gosh, to think about it, I see this people longer than I see my kids in a day... I spend, what..., 9 hours or more (mostly more) for 5 consecutive days... I think I see less of my kids...

That's why I love my colleagues, especially those who have been in my department (Marketing Communications). Pak Reinhardt, my dear big bear ex boss... Ibu Siti, my so sophisticated yet funny "dash line" boss, Patricia my sister-like boss. Then there's Hudy who holds my secrets, Nina my source of answers, Aldhien my storage box of ideas. And then there are Marcomm++ members... Imeldha the grandmother of us all, Kim the best girl any boys can get (guys, you have GOT to love her...) and then there is Beben whom I don't have enough words to describe but let's just say he's the frosting of the cake. We are the Tim Bulu Ketek... translated in English would be Armpit Hair Team bwahahahaha... Don't ask me why, I have no idea...

There are so many names to mention aside of my team, but posting one would mean posting everyone for I love them all... And I really hate to miss a name... Relifers, I love you... so so so so very much... People out there ex Relifers, I'm joining you soon!!!

Well, Mr. Rain, you are NOT going to stop me today... This is farewell day and this is I love you, I'm gonna miss you day. Step aside flood, Ndy is coming!!
